Rusić Mirko

Rusić Mirko (Srbija)

1947–2016

He was born in Kragujevac in 1947. He began doing painting in 1990. In his canvases he animated the memory of childhood, spent in the heart of Šumadija, by placing them in recognisable Šumadija landscape. In his paintings, Rusić built his poetics on clear personal memory and emotion, always expressed in warm tint.
