On 7 September 2017, in overcrowded Halle Saint
Pierre, the exhibition of paintings and sculptures of the artists
from Serbia entitled Turbulences on the Balkans opened; the
exhibition was organised by MNMA (Jagodina Serbia) and Halle Saint
Pierre, Paris. Among the guests were Éric Lejoindre, Mayor of the
18th Arrondissement, President of Halle Saint Pierre, Jean Lebrun as
well as His Excellency Rajko Ristić, Ambassador of Serbia in Paris,
who expressed warm thanks to Mrs Martine Lusardy, Director of Halle
Saint Pierre, for her interest in outstandingly inspiring artists
|The exhibition is accompanied by the Catalogue
published by Halle Saint Pierre with the Foreword by Martie Lusardy
and main text written by Nina Krstić.
The artworks of Sava Sekulić, Ilija Bosilj Bašičević, Vojislav Jakić, Barbarien, Matija Staničić, Milan Stanisavljević, Ljubiša Jovanović – Kene, Joškin Šiljan, Vojkan Morar, Igor Simonović, Ivana Stanisavljević, Dragan Milivojević, Dragan Jovanović – Gagac, Arhivist, Boris Deheljan, Aleksandar Denić, Bojan Đorđević – Omča, Joca Geringer, Goran Stojčetović, Zoran Tanasić, Budimir Pejak Pejaković, Nenad Džoni Racković, Dragan Radović (“Magični Old Man“), Danijel Savović and Emir Šehanović were exhibited.
The representative collection of multi-lingual monographs and other advertising material published by MNMA drew special attention of the audience.
The exhibition will be open until 31 July 2018, and during the exhibition a scientific meeting on the occasion of traditional Outsider Art Fair in Paris from 19 – 22 October 2017 will be organised. During the exhibition a few parallel activities will be organised at Cultural Information Centre in Paris such as a book promotion, a film projection, the exhibition of advertising material of MNMA etc.
